Brief Profile

Dr Joel Ebute, was born and raised in Nigeria, where I developed a deep passion for computer science and security. From a young age, I was fascinated by the world of technology and spent countless hours tinkering with computers and learning everything I could about programming and cybersecurity. After completing my primary and secondary education in Nigeria, I went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma. It was during this time that I honed my skills in programming and developed a keen interest in the field of cybersecurity. Following my graduation, I pursued my first PhD in Computer Science, where I conducted extensive research on various aspects of cybersecurity. My research work allowed me to travel to over 15 countries around the world, where I interacted with other researchers and experts in the field, gaining valuable insights and knowledge. But my thirst for knowledge did not end there. I went on to pursue a second PhD in Security and Strategic Studies from Nasarawa State University Keffi.with a focus on policy, strategy, and human security. This allowed me to expand my understanding of the broader issues related to security and to develop a more holistic approach to cybersecurity. Over the years, I have obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), Certified Security Analyst (CSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT),Certified Management Professional (CMP) and Distinguished Fellow of the Africa Institute of Public Administrator (AIPA) These certifications have helped me stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of cybersecurity and have allowed me to provide valuable insights and advice to organizations and governments around the world. As a renowned author, I have written extensively on the subjects of computer science and security, with my latest book being "Offensive Cyber Operations: Strategies and Tactics for Modern Warfare". My publications have been widely read and have contributed significantly to the body of knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. Currently, I am a research fellow and faculty member with the Army War College Nigeria, where I continue to conduct research and provide guidance on matters related to cybersecurity and national security. It is a role that I find both challenging and rewarding, as it allows me to contribute to the development of my country and to make a positive impact in the world.
