TLA is a gathering of Eagles in Africa - Leaders, Policy Makers, administrators, entrepreneurs, captains of industries, CEOs, legislators, religious leaders, military and judicial leaders, etc, to think about big ideas that can change Africa, building knowledge, competency, and connections that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
The central objective is to inspire a new future for our continent and build an alliance of human capital for the goal of developing Africa by ourselves.
Yes, all TLA nominees must go through the three-day classroom drills that consist of 2 plenaries, 2 keynotes, 3 seminars session, 1 workshop, and 1 stand-up presentation at the Nkrumah center. The curriculum is incisive, a perfect blend of theories and practice delivered by formidable faculty of eminent subject matter experts, thought leaders, and professors tactically selected from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Academic agreements and bilateral co-operations exist between the six partner organizations that have designed and are promoting the TLA (Summit) events. The London Bridge Business School, UK and the Africa Institute of Public Administration, Ghana, are the two major partners. London Bridge Business School , LBBS-UK, has a subsisting BAC with the North East University, USA that enables the two Institutions to award Honorary Doctoral Degree in Transformational Leadership and Management only.
TLA is borne out of necessity to drive innovations and creative leadership behaviors and standards across leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, administrators, etc. in Africa. It started in 2017 in Ghana with over 25 persons who gathered in Accra to discuss the future of Transformational Leadership in Africa.

The Summmit Group from diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences saw there is a need to create a leadership development pipeline to nurture creative minds into innovative leaders and network them into a learning community to deepen their thoughts, knowledge and skills in the subject matter and grow entirely new and creative thought leaders that will challenge and disrupt the status quo and open up to a new vista of opportunities for growth advantage in Africa.
There are three ways a candidate can be nominated into any of the sessions of the TLA:

i. The first is through our alumni networks. At the end of each successful TLA session, satisfied alumni members are given the opportunity to nominate at least five persons who are qualified through our educational and experience criteria, and in turn the TLA Secretariat sends an invitation to the candidates as nominated, but must be qualified persons going by approved standards.

ii. There is an existing Social Research Network, TLA deploys that equally brings up suitably qualified individuals from English speaking African countries for the TLA programmes. The candidates who emerge through this means are still subject to the approval of the TLA advisory Board who at all times maintains the quality and standards of the TLA programmes.

iii. The third system is advertorial. Sometimes, the organizing partners can put up adverts on the media calling for opersons who are suitably qualified based on specific standards to enlist for any of the sessions of the TLA
